INSTRUCTIONS FOR CERCLA:THE GAME
You needn't read this if you are an experienced text adventure gamer.
If, however, this is your first foray into the world of text adventure games,
a few things you should know are listed below.
Moving about is achieved by using E,S,N, and W to indicate east, south, north,
and west. To move in other directions, such as southeast, northwest, etc.,
use SE and NW and so on.
Motion can also be achieved using the cursor keys, as follows.
<Up> North <Down> South
<Left> West <Right> East
<Insert> Enter <Home> Exit
The function keys can also be used for various activities as follows.
<F1> Get <F2> Drop
<F3> Examine <F4> Read
<F5> Open <F6> Close
<F7> Inventory <F8> Look
<F9> Score <F10> Help
You should make notes of information given you as you proceed through the game,
as you can never tell what you may need to know or have to win.
You can save your position in the game at any time by simply typing save at the
prompt. To return to this position, type restore. Saving your game in this
way prevents you from starting all over should something unfortunate happen to
you.
Attend to the hints, and look at everything (although some things may not be
very special). A lot of the fun is in the descriptions. Don't be afraid to
ask for help as described above.
FOR hints and other helpful information, call Jeff Robinson of Paladin
Associates, Inc. at (315) 637-4928 during regular business hours.
HAVE FUN, AND HAPPY ADVENTURING!!!!!
